The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at UC Davis and Wells Fargo Bank are proud to announce the 2017 offering of the California Agribusiness Executive Seminar (CAES) on March 5 – 7, 2017 at Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, CA.

The CAES brings together top executives and leaders from the agribusiness community to discuss strategic issues and challenges facing their businesses through analysis of contemporary case studies. The interactive case-study format patterned after the iconic Harvard Agribusiness Seminar allows participants to exchange ideas and enhance strategic thinking by focusing on challenges and opportunities faced by peer companies. Companies participating in 2017 include: AGR Partners, California Olive Ranch, Chateau Montelena, Driscoll’s, KRAVE, McDonald's, Peapod, CRS Farming, LLC, and Sunrise Growers, Inc.

Invitations to apply have been emailed. If you would like to apply to attend and did not receive an invitation, please email assistant seminar director Julie McNamara. Applications are due December 9, 2016.

All of the activities associated with the CAES will be held within the Balboa Bay Resort. Thus your experience at CAES will be amid a backdrop of the amazing views of Newport Bay and in the beautiful weather afforded by Southern California.
